I haven’t been online for awhile. In fact, it turns out that my last blog post was the last time this wonderful day rolled around, but today none of that matters because it’s Dewey’s Read-a-thon time again! And this year, it’s even more special as it coincides with the Catalan day of Sant Jordi – a day that celebrates books and reading, where the streets of Catalunya have a book and rose stand on every corner and people share their love of books and each other!
This is my 6th read-a-thon, and I am as excited as ever – it really is bookish Christmas! As usual, I have no other goals than to read, cheer, share, snack and generally have a wonderful time.
It’s only about 1 hour until kick-off, and I’ve prepared loads of snacks, arranged for my lovely hubby to make some dinner for me later, prepared a wonderful and very ambitious stack of books and donned my comfy Tweety pyjama-pants and Star Wars hoodie.I can’t wait to get started!
Are you joining in? If so, what are you planning to read and is there anywhere I can follow you?
